Job Description

The National Director of Sales at Studio Movie Grill develops, mentors, and manages a national team of Event Sales Managers, develops a process for opening doors at Fortune 1000-like companies, and presents sales achievements and strategy to the Head of Marketing and Leadership Team.  The sales leader will work alongside multiple stakeholders within the organization including Marketing, Film, Brand, Operations, Finance, and Outreach to ensure a positive guest experience every time.

  • Providing strategic and tactical leadership that translates into achieving department, individual theatre, and company goals.
  • Influencing decisions at the customer and location level.
  • Learning and staying on top of new trends for business meetings and conferences, client and employee appreciation, networking, film and entertainment, culinary, and sales.
  • Managing selling activities to keep the sales team on track to achieve individual, team, and company revenue goals.
  • Annual, Quarterly, Monthly, and Weekly planning. 
  • Design sales collateral with the Marketing and Brand teams.
  • Challenging the staff to maximize efficiency and sales production results.
  • Supporting negotiations for the best contract terms and conditions that satisfies the customer’s requirements.
  • Identifying team training opportunities throughout the year and hosting an annual sales conference.
  • Building trust within the Sales Team, Leadership, Operations, and Support Office.
  • Acquiring data for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. 
  • Seeking input and sharing ideas.
  • Recruiting and developing top talent


Ideal Qualities

  • Representative sales background
  • National sales management
  • Experience managing a remote team of at least 5
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Closed Fortune 1000-type accounts
  • Believe in the Win 5 Model – Guests, Community, Vendors, Team Members, Investors
  • Hotel, Conference Center, Entertainment Venue experience desired
  • Master of Communication, Interpersonal, and Analytical skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
