The perfect SMG Team Member is open to learning and has a passion for hospitality and seeks the excitement of connecting with Guests in multiple ways.

 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, capable, and motivated individual interested in a career in the hotel/restaurant industry. Someone who is willing, eager and exhibits a strong work ethic. We work collaboratively at SMG, so we’re looking for someone who has a “can do” attitude and enjoys the fast-paced nature of the hospitality industry. You should have exceptional decision making and problem-solving skills. We’re looking for an individual who is intellectually curious, collaborative, and open to new challenges. 

 

Your responsibilities will vary based on current department projects.  You could be   helping with a variety of day-to-day tasks which could include but are not limited to:

 

  • Guest Services and Special Events – movie pass mailings
  • Sourcing Special Event leads
  • Communicating with potential Special Event leads
  • Organizing product samples and assist in coordination of menu tastings
  • Conduct facilities walk throughs with Facilities Coordinator
  • Work with Facilities on sourcing vendors in select markets
  • Work in theater operations with the desired outcome of an advanced understanding of operational processes and execution
  • Complete Operations assessments of theaters with Area Directors, Vice President, and L&D

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
